Though each track is short, the totality of this blackened death ritual weighs upon the listener in an almost physical manner, suffocating all hope, pushing your head down beneath a shoreless sea of blood until nothing but nightmares bubble wetly to the surface. And the lyrics…blasphemous incantations to call forth the sickle-tongued devouring demon inside each one of us. Dave Aftandilian

Kommodus is the acid rain that pours on you melting your existence with it's sheer combustion power. This is first wave black metal through modern lense with strong concept of nonmodern temper of survival of the fittest. Pugnacious drums ushers dark army of decimating riffs and basslines to immolate everything on their way. There's hints of early Sepultura too which is kinda refreshing. Fine, defiant art. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
